Hotel Description
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first saw the name – it’s basically just a straightforward description of what you’re getting – but this place in Düsseltal really surprised me. The apartment sits on Lindemannstraße, which is one of those quiet residential streets that locals love but tourists rarely stumble across. You know what I mean? It’s actually perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Düsseldorf rather than just visiting it.
The 100 square meters feels generous, especially after staying in those cramped hotel rooms near the Altstadt where you can barely open your suitcase. I mean, there’s real space here – the kind where six people can spread out without stepping on each other’s stuff. The kitchen is properly equipped too, not just some sad mini-fridge situation. I found myself making actual meals instead of surviving on overpriced room service, which honestly saved me a fortune. The balcony faces east, so morning coffee out there is pretty lovely, though you’ll catch some street noise during rush hour – nothing terrible, just the usual city hum.
What really works about this location is how connected you are without being in the thick of everything. The Messe is close enough that you could walk if you’re feeling ambitious (about 20 minutes), but there’s also decent public transport right there. Düsseltal has this neighborhood feel that central Düsseldorf lacks – there’s a bakery around the corner that opens ridiculously early, and the local grocery store stays open later than you’d expect. The area gets busy during trade show seasons, which makes sense given the proximity to the fairgrounds, but it’s not the kind of touristy chaos you get near the Rhine.
I’ll be honest, it’s not fancy – this is a solid three-star situation that delivers exactly what it promises. The furnishing is functional rather than Instagram-worthy, and the building itself is typical German residential architecture from probably the 80s. But everything works properly, the Wi-Fi is reliable (crucial if you’re there for business), and the check-in process was refreshingly straightforward. The high rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s the kind of place that doesn’t oversell itself but consistently delivers on the basics really well.

Great apartment in Dusseldorf – Maxime from Belgium – 4 March 2025 (10/10)
Great, clean and spacious apartment. Not too far from the city center (especially by tram). We had a great time there.
Comfy apartment – Gustavo from South Africa – 28 May 2025 (8/10)
Good Location
Close to public transport and shops
Overall a very comfortable stay
What could be improved: Pillows in the bedrooms were not great.
No ironing board.
There was a communal washing machine for the apartment block but the residents definitely had a problem with us using the facilities as they removed the detergent drawer of the machine. This was quite frustrating and childish.
Otherwise we couldn’t complain.Great place except for the bathroom door issue – Melvin from Netherlands – 18 August 2024 (7/10)
The location in the city is close to all amenities. The interior of the apartment was good too. All toiletries provided were of good quality. Also the small kitchen was fantastic. Overall the value for money was excellent.
What could be improved: The bathroom door lock was broken(stuck) and could not be closed or locked. This made a really weird situation for us. After informing this to the owner, it was not taken care of during our stay. The bathroom window opens to the next door neighbour's balcony.
Also the parking situation was a bit difficult. But we could find some free parking in the nearby streets with some luck.Fijn verblijf! – Wesley from Netherlands – 26 May 2025 (9/10)
Het appartement was super mooi en lekker ruim! Netjes en mooi opgeruimd, we hebben ons erg vermaakt! Je bent binnen een kwartiertje in het centrum of als je een über pakt wat echt super goedkoop is ben je er helemaal snel!
