But they’re not hovering either, which I appreciate when I’m trying to settle into a routine. The building itself is well-maintained without feeling precious about it, if that makes sense. Street parking can be a bit of a hunt during busy periods – I’d honestly recommend asking about their parking situation when you book, because it varies depending on which part of the building you’re in. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet after about 10 PM, which was perfect for me, though if you’re looking for late-night action right outside your door, you might want to factor in a short walk or ride. Four stars feels about right for the category, but that 9 rating? Yeah, I get it. Sometimes it’s not about marble lobbies or concierge services – it’s about a place that just works really well for what it is.
