You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Boutique Hotel Villa Sarah when I first pulled up – honestly, the name made me think it might be one of those trying-too-hard places. But walking through those doors, I immediately got why this little 4-star gem has an 8.6 rating. There’s something genuinely warm about the place that hits you right away, maybe it’s the way the lobby feels more like someone’s really well-designed living room than a hotel reception area.

The staff actually remembers your name after day one (I mean, not just the front desk person who checked you in, but the housekeeping team too), which is rare these days. My room had this perfect balance of boutique charm without being precious about it – you know how some places get so caught up in being “unique” that you can’t figure out how to turn on the lights? Not here. Everything just works, and works well. The beds are seriously comfortable, though I’ll be honest, the pillows were a bit too soft for my taste – but they brought me different ones within ten minutes of asking. The bathroom situation is solid too, with actually good water pressure and those little touches that show someone’s paying attention, like decent lighting around the mirror and outlets where you actually need them.
