You’re literally walking distance from the Rhine promenade, and if you’re into that whole “let’s pretend we’re sophisticated and drink wine by the water” vibe, you’ll love it here. The hotel itself sits right in the middle of this controlled chaos of glass towers and converted industrial buildings. It’s actually pretty cool watching the city transform from business district during the day to this buzzing social scene at night. The rooms are what you’d expect from Marriott – clean, comfortable, those crisp white sheets that somehow always feel fresh. But here’s what I really appreciated: the windows are properly soundproofed. Trust me on this one, because the Hafen can get lively, especially on weekends when everyone’s out enjoying the waterfront bars.
