Nothing fancy, but everything you actually need is there and works properly (which, let’s face it, isn’t always a given).

What really sold me on the place was how quiet it gets at night – you’re far enough from the main roads that you don’t get that constant hum of traffic, but close enough that grabbing an Uber or hopping on public transport isn’t a hassle. The host was pretty straightforward during check-in, very German in the best way – efficient, clear instructions, no unnecessary small talk but genuinely helpful when I had questions about getting around. I spent most evenings walking around the neighborhood, and it’s got that lived-in feel where you see families out with their dogs and people actually using the local restaurants instead of just tourists taking photos. There’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that exists for locals first, you know? The 8.4 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be a luxury experience, but it nails what it’s going for.
