You’re about 15 minutes from the city center, which means you get that quieter residential feel without being completely cut off from everything. I found myself appreciating how the area feels more authentic — you know, where actual locals live and work rather than just tourist spots. The Himmelgeist area (which literally means “heavenly spirit” if you’re curious) sits along the Rhine, and there are some genuinely nice walking paths if you’re into that sort of thing.

My room was exactly what I hoped for from a modern German hotel — functional but not sterile, with those little touches that show someone actually thought about how people use spaces. The beds are proper comfortable, and the bathrooms have that efficient German engineering you’d expect.   Obwohl etwas abgelegen ist dieses Quartier durch eine fantastische Anbindung ans öffentliche Verkehrsnetz ideal für Geschäftsreisende.
  Die Ausstattung des Apartments ist lässt keine Wünsche offen, und der Betreiber ist extrem fürsorglich. Höchste Empfehlung und sehr wahrscheinliche Neubuchung!

  Appartamento veramente accogliente il proprietario molto disponibile mi ha lasciato le chiavi e praticamente é stato come se fossi a casa mia. Il bagno è nuovo, terrazzino con poltroncine per fumare, veramente il top.

  Wir konnten vom gemieteten Zimmer aus die ganze Wohnung incl. Balkon nutzen. Der Vermieter war in dieser Zeit nicht in der Wohnung. So hatten wir Bad, Küche, Wohnbereich zur Verfügung.
  Sehr ruhige Lage – schönes Wohngebiet – in der Nähe: Rhein, botanischer Garten und Aldi – Bütchen mit Aufbackbrötchen.sowie leckeres griechisches Restaurant um die Ecke .
  
  What could be improved: Der Wohnbereich ist kameraüberwacht – ist nicht tragisch, muss man halt wissen.
