The beds are properly comfortable, not too soft, not too firm, and the soundproofing is decent enough that you’re not listening to every conversation in the hallway. Though I will say, if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs because Düsseldorf can get a bit lively on weekend nights. The bathrooms are modern with good water pressure – honestly, after a long day of meetings or wandering around the Altstadt, that shower hits just right.

What I really like about staying here is how it puts you right in the middle of everything without being in the absolute chaos of it all. You can walk to the Rhine in about fifteen minutes, and getting to the Königsallee for shopping is no big deal either. The airport connection is solid too – you’re not stuck with some complicated transfer situation. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but that’s pretty much every hotel in this part of the city, so no real surprise there. I’ve found the best strategy is just to ask them about it when you book.

Look, the 7.2 rating might make it sound just okay, but I think that’s people expecting something different than what this place is trying to be. It’s a solid, reliable hotel that does the fundamentals really well. The kind of place where you sleep well, start your day with a decent breakfast, and head out feeling ready to tackle whatever brought you to Düsseldorf. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need, especially when you’re traveling for work or just want a comfortable base without all the fuss. I keep coming back, which probably says more than any rating ever could.
