Jupa’s Hotel Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Jupa’s Hotel on Bahnhofstraße, I’ll be honest — it wasn’t what I expected from a four-star property in Düsseldorf. The building has this understated charm that grows on you, and the fact that there’s parking right there (and it’s free!) immediately put me in a good mood. You know how rare that is in German cities, right? The entrance feels more like a boutique guesthouse than a traditional hotel, which actually turned out to be part of its appeal.
The Angermund Advantage
Here’s something most visitors don’t realize — staying in Angermund is actually brilliant if you want to experience Düsseldorf without the city center chaos. I mean, you’re still technically in Düsseldorf, but it feels like a completely different world. The neighborhood has this quiet, residential vibe with tree-lined streets, and honestly, it’s perfect for couples (which explains that 8.5 rating from other guests). The train connections into the main city are solid, so you get the best of both worlds — peaceful evenings and easy access to all the urban attractions.
Room Experience
My room was surprisingly spacious for what I paid, with clean lines and that typical German attention to detail. The bed was comfortable enough that I actually slept through the night (travel insomnia is real, people), and the bathroom had good water pressure — small things that matter when you’re tired. What I appreciated most was how quiet everything was; you’d never guess you’re near a main street like Bahnhofstraße. The decor isn’t going to win any design awards, but it’s functional and pleasant, sort of like staying at a well-run family business.
Breakfast Worth Waking Up For
The breakfast situation here is actually quite impressive. They’ve got this buffet setup with continental options, but what caught my attention was how they handle dietary preferences — proper vegetarian choices, not just an afterthought. If you’re rushing to catch an early train, they’ll even pack breakfast to go, which saved me one morning when I had an early meeting in the city center. The restaurant area gets good natural light, and the coffee was strong enough to properly wake me up (crucial for any hotel stay, honestly).
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
Look, Jupa’s Hotel isn’t trying to be the flashiest place in Düsseldorf, and that’s exactly why it works. The 8.6 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re actually getting — reliable comfort, genuinely helpful staff, and a location that feels like a local secret. It’s the kind of place where business travelers become regulars and couples book return visits. The free parking alone probably saves you 15-20 euros per night compared to city center hotels, and the peaceful atmosphere means you’ll actually rest between your Düsseldorf adventures.
Apartments in Dusseldorf provide travelers with an authentic local experience, allowing them to shop at traditional markets and cook with fresh ingredients from the renowned Rhineland culinary traditions.

The staff was really nice, always available and willing to fulfill my requests. The location is perfect, nice and quiet, not too close to the noisy city center, but also not too far away. Being very close to the train and bus stations makes it very easy and fast to reach both the city and the airport.
The room was very nice, clean and also very quiet which helped me get a good sleep and feel relaxed the next day.
The breakfast service was also very good. The food was fresh and tasty and you could find anything that you would need to have a good breakfast, including gluten free options.
I really enjoyed the place and the people, and will definitely visit again 🙂
