Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about limehome Düsseldorf on Stresemannstraße? The whole digital access thing actually works – and I mean really works, not like those half-baked keyless systems that leave you standing in the hallway at midnight. I was honestly skeptical (I’ve been burned before), but everything from check-in to getting into your room happens through your phone, and it’s surprisingly smooth.
The location is pretty solid if you want to be in the thick of things without paying Königsallee prices. Stresemannstraße puts you right in Stadtmitte, which means you’re walking distance from the old town – maybe fifteen minutes to the Rhine promenade if you don’t mind a stroll. The street itself is… well, it’s urban. Not exactly charming cobblestones, but you’ve got the U-Bahn nearby and plenty of places to grab a proper döner or Vietnamese pho (there’s this little place two blocks down that locals actually go to). Parking can be a bit of a headache around here, just so you know – street parking fills up fast, and the hotel doesn’t have its own garage.
The rooms themselves feel very… limehome, if that makes sense. Clean lines, everything white and gray, functional furniture that doesn’t try too hard to be memorable. I actually appreciate that approach – it’s like a well-designed apartment rather than trying to be some grand hotel experience. The kitchenette is legit useful, not just for show, and honestly, being able to make coffee without those terrible pod machines was a small victory. Soundproofing is decent enough – you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but it settles down at night. The WiFi is strong (I worked from there for a couple days without issues), and the shower pressure is better than you’d expect from a 3-star place.
What I really liked was how straightforward everything felt. No pretentious lobby with marble everywhere, no overly chatty front desk person – just efficient, modern hospitality that gets out of your way. The 8.1 rating makes sense to me; it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers exactly what it promises. The digital check-out is just as seamless as arriving, which… I mean, when did hotel checkout become such a production anyway? This place strips all that away. If you’re the type who needs turndown service and someone to carry your bags, look elsewhere. But if you want a clean, well-located base for exploring Düsseldorf without the fuss – and you don’t mind that slightly sterile aesthetic – it’s a solid choice that won’t eat your travel budget.

Very well located, comfortable, spacious and good value. – Richard from United Kingdom – 15 July 2025 (9/10)

Very good – Fiona from Australia – 22 June 2025 (8/10)
It was a big room and a comfortable bed.
What could be improved: Having to load an app use the washing machines for a one off wash,so sadly we dragged our dirty washing to Switzerland .
Our room overlooked a very busy and noisy street.Very zen place@ – Ellie from United States – 18 June 2025 (8/10)
Nice location.
What could be improved: The front door code ✔️ mark was faded, and we had a hard time understanding why the front door was not opening. Also, we were 3 adults, but only my phone could access the room door and made it difficult to have the freedom to access the room for other guests without me.Sightseeing of arts – Keishi from Japan – 19 May 2025 (9/10)
Hotel locates on relatively close to a main station and silence place. Hotel room includes a kitchen system for a long stay visitor.
What could be improved: Due to no front staff, we had to keep our laggage somewhere after check-out.Superb – Mustafa from Turkey – 14 May 2025 (9/10)
