Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend getting there before the evening rush if you’re traveling during trade fair season – Düsseldorf gets absolutely packed during those times, and every decent hotel feels the crunch.

What really won me over was how well-connected this place is once you figure out the public transport. The Seestern U-Bahn station is literally right there, and honestly, you can get to the Altstadt or Königsallee faster than you’d think. I spent way less time commuting than friends who stayed in more “central” hotels that were actually harder to get around from. The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star – nothing revolutionary, but everything works properly and the beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this). But if you want to experience Düsseldorf more like someone who actually lives there, while still having easy access to all the main attractions, this spot hits that sweet spot perfectly.
