The location is what really sold me on it. Golzheim is one of those neighborhoods that feels properly German without being touristy – you’re basically a stone’s throw from the Rhine, and I mean that literally. You can walk down to the water in about five minutes, which is perfect if you need to clear your head after a long day of meetings or just want to watch the river traffic (honestly, it’s more relaxing than you’d think). The trade fair grounds are close enough that you could probably walk it, though most people take the quick tram ride. What I really appreciated was being away from all the conference hotel chaos while still being connected to everything. The neighborhood has this quiet, residential feel – tree-lined streets, the occasional café where locals actually hang out, that sort of thing.

Inside, it’s clear someone put actual thought into making this feel like a home rather than just a place to crash. The apartment has those high ceilings you get in older German buildings, but everything’s been updated without losing the character. Kitchen’s properly equipped too – I mean really equipped, not just a mini-fridge and a kettle situation. The bed was honestly one of the better ones I’ve slept in (and I say this as someone who’s pretty picky about mattresses). Parking was straightforward, which if you’ve driven in Düsseldorf, you know is not something to take for granted. The building itself is quiet – well, German-level quiet, which means you might hear the occasional tram but nothing that’ll keep you up at night.

What struck me most was how the place manages to feel both polished and lived-in. There are thoughtful touches scattered around – good lighting where you need it, enough outlets in sensible places, proper blackout curtains that actually work. The kind of details that make you think someone who travels a lot designed this space. During trade fair season, you’re obviously going to pay more and book further ahead, but honestly? Even at peak prices, you’re getting something special here. It’s the difference between staying somewhere and actually settling in for a few days. Plus, that 9.4 rating isn’t just inflated review scores – you can feel why people keep coming back to this place.

  Location is great for trade shows at the Messe. The place is nice with an amazing view. Modern decorations. The owner and his wife greeted me and they were very pleasant.
  
  What could be improved: It would help to have directions on how to use the door to the balcony. This was a bit challenging for those of us not familiar with German window technology. Providing coffee pods for the coffeemaker would be a nice touch.

  Auch in der kalten Jahreszeit hat man Sonne ab Vormittag im Apartment und bis zum Sonnenuntergang kann man die Aussicht auf den Rhein genießen. Meine Bewertung vom Sommer letzten Jahres bleibt -alles wie gehabt. Kurze Wege in die Altstadt , U-Bahn vor der Tür. Ausstattung Küche alles vorhaben und Regendusche . Bett im Schlafzimmer gut und gross genug, hier wird man morgens mit den ersten Sonnenstrahlen geweckt und hat auch eine Aussicht zur Skyline von Düsseldorf.
