My room was on the seventh floor, and honestly, it had everything I needed without feeling cramped. The bed was genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathroom was spacious enough that you’re not bumping elbows with your travel partner. What I really liked was the soundproofing – Düsseldorf can get pretty lively, especially on weekends, but I slept well even with the windows facing the street side.

The breakfast buffet is solid, nothing revolutionary, but they do proper German bread and decent coffee, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to fuel up for a day of exploring. I mean, for a 4-star in this price range, you’re getting reliable comfort without the premium price tag of the flashier hotels closer to Königsallee.
