You know what really impressed me about this place? The Pempelfort location is absolutely spot-on. I mean, couples are rating it a perfect 10, and after spending time in the area, I totally get why. You’re close enough to the Altstadt to walk there easily, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with tourist crowds right outside your window. The tree-lined Kaiser-Wilhelm-Ring gives you that authentic German residential feel — honestly, it’s like staying in a neighborhood where locals actually live and work. The area offers excellent connectivity to major attractions while maintaining a peaceful, residential atmosphere that guests consistently praise.

The Room Experience

My room had this clean, minimalist design that felt refreshingly uncluttered after bouncing between overly ornate hotels. The windows are generous, and if you get one facing the ring, you’ll have these lovely views of the street below. What I really appreciated was the attention to practical details — good lighting for reading, plenty of outlets where you actually need them, and a bathroom that doesn’t make you feel like you’re playing Tetris every time you turn around. The space feels thoughtfully curated for comfort and functionality, with modern amenities that enhance rather than complicate your stay.

Here’s something that’ll matter if you’re driving — they have parking right on site, which is honestly a godsend in this part of Düsseldorf. I’ve stayed at places where finding parking becomes this whole evening adventure, so having that sorted was such a relief. The staff seems genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions. When I needed restaurant recommendations, they actually knew the neighborhood well enough to suggest places that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots.   Top-Lage unmittelbar am Rheinufer. Es muss nicht immer ein Hotel sein, es darf auch mal etwas ausgefallenes sein, vor allem bei schönem Wetter. Es war ein außergewöhnlicher, interessanter und spaßiger Wochenendtrip.

  Eine unkomplizierte Übernachtungsmöglichkeit mit direktem Standort und Blick auf den Rhein. Für uns als Paar mit Hund war es ein tolles Erlebnis! Eine super liebe Gastgeberin, die Transi liebevoll eingerichtet hat und check-in und check-out ganz unkompliziert ermöglicht. Wer auf Hotelcomfort verzichten mag (ein öffentliches WC ist in der Nähe) und auf kleinerem Raum zurecht kommt, der/die wird Transi lieben!

• Außergewöhnliche Übernachtung im Van – Grace from Philippines – 15 December 2024 (10/10)

  Die Lage ist super. Unkomplizierte Schlüssel Annahme & Abgabe. Im Van ist alles vorhanden was benötigt wird. Gute Videos, die die Funktionen erklären.
  
  What could be improved: Nachts war es leider etwas zu laut, da es geregnet hat. Außerdem stören die Schiffe etwas.

  Wer Übernachtungen in einem selber gebauten Wohnmobil mag kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Einfach aber sehr bequem. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat sich um Probleme sehr engagiert und kurzfristig gekümmert. Wir würden das Angebot wieder nutzen.

  Alles ist liebevoll und pragmatisch eingerichtet. Die Lage am Rhein ist traumhaft und die Vermieterin sehr freundlich und herzlich. Eine unbedingte Empfehlung!
