The two rooms are laid out smartly – nothing revolutionary, but whoever set this place up clearly thought about how people actually live and move through a space. There’s enough room to spread out your stuff (you know how hotel rooms make you live out of a suitcase?), and the kitchen area means you can grab groceries from the nearby Rewe and actually cook something decent instead of eating overpriced schnitzel every night.

What really won me over was the little details that show someone cares about this place. The Wi-Fi actually works properly – I mean, fast enough for video calls, not just checking email. The shower has decent water pressure, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong. And there’s this practical stuff like extra towels and a proper coffee setup that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere thoughtful rather than just convenient. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you factor in the value – you’re getting way more space and comfort than a typical hotel room for probably less money, plus you’re in a neighborhood where you can pop into the local Kneipe and not feel like a complete tourist. Sure, it’s not going to wow you with marble bathrooms or a concierge, but if you want to experience Düsseldorf like someone who actually lives there rather than just passing through, this kind of setup beats a generic hotel chain every time.

  Der herausragendsten Punkt ist die wirklich sehr gute Lage: 2 Straßenbahn Linien direkt an der Unterkunft und Hauptbahnhof in der Nähe. Kontakt mit dem Besitzer gab es nicht viel, dieser war aber sehr freundlich und bemüht. Es standen außerdem noch Kaffeepads, Zucker usw. bereit. Danke dafür.
  
  What could be improved: Es gab ein kleines Problem bezüglich der Checkout Zeit, das könnte aber schnell geklärt werden. 🙂
  Die zentrale Lage hat leider den Nachteil, dass es auch Nachts laute Fahrgeräusche gibt. Im Schlafzimmer weniger als auf dem Schlafsofa, aber dennoch hörbar. Wer empfindlich ist sollte also vorsorgen (Ohropax oder ähnliches).
