The private parking thing is huge if you’re driving – and I’m talking from experience here because finding a spot anywhere near the Messe during trade show season is basically a nightmare. The apartment comes with this dedicated space that’s tucked away from the street, so you’re not dealing with the usual Düsseldorf parking drama. Inside, it’s got that clean, minimalist vibe that works really well for short stays. The kitchen is actually functional (weird how rare that is in apartment rentals), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes like some places I’ve stayed. It’s three stars, sure, but it’s three stars that actually work for what they’re supposed to do. Plus – and this might sound weird – but there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t try too hard. No fancy lobby, no overwrought breakfast spread, just a solid apartment that lets you get on with whatever brought you to Düsseldorf in the first place.
